Hockey House Matches 2017

Middle House claimed 2/3 titles in this year's House Hockey competition with the Year 10 and Senior sides both being crowned champions. The Year 9 side competed admirably but missed out on the title this year, I'm sure they will be keen to put aside their disappointment and push for next year's crown. Houses matches are always tense, gritty affairs and so this proved in all competitions with narrow victories and some drawn matches proving to be enough to claim the titles in all age groups. MUN 2017

MUN rolled into town this past weekend and took over the school campus to debate the latest issues in world politics. There was a strong showing from Middle House men who took up various positions as 'Chairs' and 'Delegates' for countries around the world. It was a great opportunity not only to raise awareness and broaden knowledge of the worlds current issues but also to meet people from schools around the whole country. The boys were fantastic in their participation and were still enthusiastic if not a little exhausted by Sunday evening!
